Excellent! However, thanks to a gormless mechanic at "Sunset" garage in Derby the bonnet on my A2 refuses to open having pulled the latch inside. Therefore, I am reliant on a stranger in a good mood to pull the front flap down..........or call Green Flag for such a trivial cause. Any ideas gratefully received!

I have 15-inch wheels on my A2 (1.4 TDI, 77 hp), and I get around 3.8 L/100 km on long trips, with consumption ranging from 5 to 6 L/100 km in urban driving. Considering it's a 23-year-old car, I’d say that's quite impressive. I'm very happy with it; it's also an incredibly reliable vehicle, easy to maintain, and inexpensive to service.

Love the colour and love the wheels. Those rims look amazing. My A2 is the same colour as the 54 plate on your drive. An amazing little car. All the best when it comes buddy.

Hi there Mr. B. Watched a few of your video's and you certainly know your way around an A2. The steering on my 05 plate diesel has went very heavy and I'm not sure where to start analysing it. The A2oc suggests checking the fuse in the floor, the main fuse board (and that fuse is ok) the steering fluid level and some folks questioned the pump, whereas others have said the pump is very robust and very rarely fails. I believe the steering is part mechanical/part electrical? Quick question buddy. Have you ever experienced heavy steering with them? At the start, the steering would go heavy/unaided and ten minutes later would be fine again. These instances would become more frequent, to the point of no steering at all. The car is up my driveway now, mot long expired and I want to get her back on the road in time for spring, or thereabouts. Have you ever experienced anything similar? Good morning. I am the owner of an Audi A2 1.4 petrol my 2003 with 230 thousand km. Ordinary maintenance always goes very well. I have a question for you... the warning sound of the lights on when I turn off the car and open the door is no longer heard. Also the sound of the petrol finished obviously disappeared. The beep has slowly died. Where is it located I would like to replace it? I always follow you and thank you for your useful advice. Thanks from Italy

Thanks for the video ! In case anyone has a problem with voltage, I had broken ABS sensor wires in my A2. fixing them seemed to help apparently. also always good to change the fuses, after all these years...

Do you know if these covers are the exact same on all four jacking points around the car, or if they are specific to certain positions? I just bought an A2 which is missing all of them, and I'd like to find replacements.

My A2 has a missing "XZN M8" bolt on the passenger side.. considering swapping them all out for M8 Allen head bolts.. is there anything else 'special' about the XZN bolts?

Excellent! Exactly what I was looking for.. I just need to flip the back seats as far forward as possible, and I basically have a van!

Thanks for the video! Just as a side note, the bolts fastening the lock can be opened using a torx 40 - might not be suggested but seemed to work fine in lack of the original driver head.

I suppose you have since got rid of this OEM tow bar - but in case you haven't are and willing to sell it I would be interested... thank you for your channel in any case, I just got me a FSI and am presently working on the bugs one after the other to make it as reliable as possible.

Same procedure with rear door? My window can go down electrically but doesn't go up anymore. It stays temporarily in place with a wedge. I think the plastic piece connected with the cable broke down so I'll have to open it

Helpful but still struggling to understand how the bulbs are taken out.

this tip saved me during the pandemic when the battery went flat. Eventually, the plastic cable snapped out. Do you have any tips about how to replace it? many thanks for considering my request.
